Sliding doors are attractive for many reasons - but one of the most remarkable ways to showcase traditional doors is to save space. Traditional doors are hinged and take up space when swung open and closed. Sliding doors, on the other hand, take up no floor space because they work by sliding from side to side.

Installation is easier and less expensive because no structural work is required. Because the door hardware is visible and part of the design itself, sliding doors are easily accessible for maintenance or adjustments.
They are the perfect solution for creating partially or fully private spaces without taking up floor space, as they do not swing to open and close. Sliding glass doors also allow natural light to stream through living spaces. The use of sliding doors are space-saving alternatives when hinged doors cannot be used.

The testing institute ift Rosenheim has successfully tested the ABP-Beyerle sliding door systems for glass and wooden doors. The proof of testing applies to the systems, among others:

How do I choose the right sliding door set?

In order to choose the right sliding door set, you first need to consider some information so that you will not have any problems when installing your sliding door:

Depending on the passage width of your door opening, choose the appropriate track length. Our track rails are coupled from a passage width of 1500 mm.

Trend colour black and white

AS50 in black and white

Our AS50 sliding door systems are not only characterised by perfect running comfort, but are now also available in the trend colours black and white. Whether for glass or wooden door leaves. The AS50 system is for glass doors and holds weights up to 45 kg. Our AS80 fitting for wooden doors, on the other hand, can hold loads of up to 80 kg.

Our Softclose is also available for both systems, which can be purchased as an additional item for the AS50 model and is integrated directly into the trolley for the AS80.

Casa - For those looking for a rustic, cosy flair in their home

In recent years, one of the interior design trends that has emerged is the vintage look, which focuses on rustic, striking, mainly black details. In the door area, you can create a rustic flair with the Casa fitting in combination with a wooden door leaf in a "used look". The wooden door leaf exudes warmth and cosiness and creates your very own country house style.

The flat steel track and the striking trolleys, which are available either for mounting on the front or on the edge of the wooden door, give the whole hardware system a very rustic, almost rough look. For projects, we recommend the Casa Project version, where the running gear is narrower and thinner, in contrast to the classic version.

Base bottom roller systems

The base bottom roller systems from ABP-Beyerle are ideal for walls with insufficient load-bearing capacity. Our patented, infinitely variable height adjustment offers you individuality and free design options. All floor roller systems have in common that the weight of the door leaf is carried by the floor roller, which runs on a floor rail.

The Belans floor roller system is particularly popular in the contract sector, as the floor rollers can withstand a load of up to 150 kg and can also be equipped with a retraction damping system.
The Silent Glam base bottom roller system in particular offers you a wide range of options through the choice of inlay. You can choose a coloured inlay in black or white to match your furnishings, or you can opt for a classic inlay in stainless steel.
The small, semi-circular floor roller of the Deeply Move system is suitable for door weights up to 60 kg. It has a reduced design and goes well with minimalist doors.
The Q-Box floor roller in rectangular design stands for a clear, symmetrical design language. The load capacity is up to 150 kg and the installation heights can be finely adjusted up to 6 mm. The prefabricated components make installation easy.
The Full Moon floor roller with its circular design is a striking detail for any glass or wooden door. The diameter of the rollers is 110 mm and they are made of satin stainless steel. The solid rollers support a door leaf of up to 150 kg.

Flatec Family

The classic in our range since the beginning

The fittings for sliding doors Flatec I and Flatec II of our Flatec family were among the first we produced. They are designed for solid tracks and feature a striking design with visible decorative screws with four tightening holes. These fittings are ideal for heavy glass and wooden door leaves weighing up to 100 kg.
With the Flatec IV and Flatec V models, we have expanded our range to include more cost-effective alternatives for tubular tracks.
The soft-closing mechanism Soft-Tec is included as standard with the Flatec I and II models. To ensure that doors close gently and quietly, our fittings are equipped with a Soft-Tec system.

In combination with an aluminium sliding door fitting, sliding glass doors lend any room an unobtrusive elegance. Depending on your choice of glass door leaf - clear glass, satin glass or coloured glass - you decide how much light you want to flood through the room.

Wooden sliding doors

Wooden sliding doors are used for a cosy home or wherever rooms also need to be separated from each other by a privacy screen. In contrast to sliding glass doors, with wooden sliding doors you have the choice between attaching the carriage to the front of the door leaf or to the top edge of the door.

Wooden door leaves mixed with an elegant stainless steel or aluminium fitting embody elegance and fit perfectly with the current interior design theme of "naturalness". This nostalgic style directly invites a feel-good atmosphere.
Our new AS80 sliding door system, like its AS50 counterpart, is characterised by perfect running comfort. This is due, among other things, to our Softclose damper, which is integrated directly into the carriage of our AS80. Thanks to its modern and robust technology, the fitting is suitable for heavier door weights of up to 80 kg.

Soft-Close

To ensure that doors close gently and quietly, our fittings are equipped with a Soft-Close system. This soft-close technology brakes the door and then pulls it closed automatically.

The system consists of a spring and a damper. When the door is opened, the spring is tensioned and the soft-close mechanism is extended. When the door is closed, the damper ensures that the door does not slam shut.
Our AS50 or AS80 sliding door systems are characterised by perfect running comfort, whether for glass or wooden door leaves.
Softclose is available for both systems. With AS50 as an optional extra, with AS80 already integrated in the carriage.
